5. Crisis Protocol

Your safety and the safety of those around you are our priority. This section describes what the platform and therapist do when an acute risk is detected. **What the therapist does when acute risk is detected** If during a session or via written message the therapist notices signs of acute risk (active suicidal thoughts, concrete plan, access to means, risk to others), they will: 1. Interrupt the planned agenda and focus on immediate stabilisation. 2. Direct you to crisis resources (112, 0800 121 21 — Lifeline Moldova, psychiatric emergency). 3. Maintain contact (by phone or chat) until a safe path is confirmed (help arriving, contact with a trusted person). 4. Document the intervention in protected clinical notes. **Automatic chat detection** The platform runs automatic detection on common phrases associated with suicidal ideation (e.g. „I want to die”, „kill myself”). On detection: - You receive a non-intrusive support card with crisis hotlines. - Your therapist receives a risk-flagged notification, without the message content. - An anonymised event is logged (keywords + timestamp, not the full text) for audit. Detection does NOT block message sending and is NOT a substitute for contacting emergency services. **When the therapist is obliged to report** In accordance with the Code of Ethics for psychologists in the Republic of Moldova and Law 411/1995 on health protection, confidentiality may be legally and ethically broken in the following situations: - Imminent and concrete risk of self-harm or suicide. - Imminent and concrete risk to the life or integrity of another person (including a minor). - Reasonable suspicion of abuse or neglect of a child or vulnerable person. - Official request from a judicial authority under a legal warrant. In these cases, the therapist will contact emergency services, the designated contact person, or competent authorities. They will inform you, as much as possible, before or immediately after. **Limits of confidentiality** - The therapist is not required to report passive thoughts (e.g. „sometimes I wonder if it's worth continuing”) without signs of immediate risk. - Clinical notes are encrypted and accessible only to your therapist. The Seempathy admin can access fragments strictly for safety moderation (audit log of crisis keywords), not the full text. - Your personal data is not sold or shared with commercial third parties (see Privacy Policy). If you have questions about this protocol, write to support@seempathy or read the /emergency page.

6. Right of Return

In accordance with Law no. 105-XV/2003 on consumer protection, the user has the right to request a refund within 14 calendar days from the date of purchase. For services already used, the refund is proportional, excluding the value of services rendered. For return requests, contact us at: support@seempathy.com Refund processing time: 14 business days from the date of request approval.
